Hyderabad (Telangana) [India]April 24 (ANI): Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is currently busy promoting her film ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ recently grabbed attention with her stunning appearance at a special event in Hyderabad.
Aishwarya looked regal as ever in a red ethnic suit. His suit was completely golden work. For the glam look, she kept her makeup minimal and left her hair open. A small round bindi definitely complemented her look. He also wore big earrings.

At the event, Aishwarya thanked the audience for showering love on the team of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
“Thank you for your support and appreciation. The incredible response you have given to our film is truly dear to our hearts. We are as excited as all of you to watch ‘PS 2’ on 28th April Thank you very much but first I would like to thank Mani Garu, my Mani Garu,” she said.
Aishwarya will be seen reprising her role in ‘Ponniyin Selvan – Part 2’. ‘PS-1’ was a cinematic adaptation of author Kalki Krishnamurthy’s Tamil novel of the same name, which was released as a series during the 1950s.
This is Aishwarya’s third collaboration with southern actor Vikram after their critically acclaimed film ‘Raavan’ in 2010. The second part will be released on 28 April.
Filmmaker Mani Ratnam directed the first and second parts. The film will continue to focus on Arulmozhi Varman and his journey to become Rajaraja Chola I, the greatest ruler of the Chola Empire.
The second part is also expected to focus on the flashback story of Vikram aka Aditya Karikalan. The sequel will also feature the relationship between Ponniyin Selvan and Oomai Rani, played by Aishwarya. (ANI)
