Tamil actor Ajith Kumar is currently enjoying the sweet success of his latest film Thunivu. However, the 51-year-old is back in action with his upcoming film, tentatively titled AK 62. Ajith Kumar, despite being one of the famous personalities of the cine world, does not own a social media account. Yet, being a star, several fan pages on social media often give glimpses of the actor’s whereabouts. Recently, a picture of Ajith Kumar’s wife Shalini and their son Aadvik has caught the attention of netizens. The picture posted on Twitter gave rise to speculations that the Thunivu actor might be a fan of Chennaiyin FC.
The tweet shared on February 24 read “Lil Aadvik and Shalin”. According to Indiaglitz, this picture was taken in the premises of the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Hence, it is safe to assume that Ajith Kumar and his family went to watch the football match between Chennaiyin FC and Northeast United. Looking at the match, Chennaiyin FC won 4-3 in what can be termed as a nail biting thriller.
In the picture, Shalini wore a casual, long, white shirt which she paired with denim blue, ripped jeans. Little Advik, dressed in a Chennaiyin FC jersey, stood beside his mother. Advik looked like a mini-footballer, slipping into a pair of black football socks and sneakers, holding a water bottle in his hand. He had a beaming smile on his face, which was shared by his mother as well.
Along with Shalini and Advik, a group of other boys were also captured in the same frame. Both Shalini and Advik pose in front of a large Chennaiyin FC banner placed behind them, giving rise to the possibility of Ajith Kumar being a fan of the team.
Ajith Kumar tied the knot with actress Shalini in April 2000. They have a daughter Anushka and a son Advik Kumar. Though the Valimai actor does not maintain a strong presence on social media, his wife often puts up adorable family pictures on Instagram, making Ajith Kumar’s fans go gaga.
On the work front, Ajith Kumar is gearing up for director Magizh Thirumani’s upcoming film AK 62. Apart from Ajith Kumar, the bank-heist thriller also stars Nayanthara, Arun Vijay and Rishad Mehmood in pivotal roles.
