Akhil Akkineni’s Agent will have a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes: Report

Superstar Nagarjuna’s son Akhil Akkineni’s mass action thriller film Agent is all set to hit the theaters on 28th April. The makers are promoting the film aggressively and have locked down a runtime for the same. The final runtime of the agent will be approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Reportedly, there might be some last minute changes. The film is directed by Surender Reddy and stars Malayalam megastar Mammootty in a pivotal role. Agent stars Akhil Akkineni and Sakshi Vaidya as the male and female protagonists respectively. The project is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinemas, with Ajay Sunkara and Pathi Deepa Reddy serving as executive producers. Agent is being edited by National Award winner Naveen Nooli while Rasool Eloor handles the camera.

Agent is said to be made as an espionage thriller that travels between different countries and locations with heavy action sequences.

Earlier, Agent was to be released as an all-India film, but the makers decided not to release it in Hindi. The team interacted with the media and revealed the reasons behind not making it a pan-India film. they said there was a Salman Khan The film which will release last week. They felt that this would not be possible and hence, decided not to have an all India release. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
