The couple announced their engagement as congratulations to ‘Little Mix’ singer Perrie Edwards and English footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Taking to Instagram, the adorable couple shared a series of pictures that capture the proposal. While Alex captioned the post, “Mrs. Oxlade-Chamberlain to be!” Perry wrote, “Last night the love of my life got down on one knee and I said… YES!” In the pictures, the star couple is seen on vacation as he lay down on one knee against a beach with the sun setting in the background – he couldn’t have chosen a better time to propose. One of the snaps shows Perry showing off her engagement ring. The announcement quickly garnered millions of likes and fans took to Twitter to congratulate the pair. Liverpool has been dating football player Perry for six years and they also have a ten-month-old son, baby Axl.
