All ministers of Rajasthan resigned before the cabinet reshuffle

The resignation came after a meeting of the Rajasthan Council of Ministers at the residence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in Jaipur on Saturday.

A day ahead of a possible reshuffle in the Rajasthan cabinet, all ministers in the Ashok Gehlot-led state cabinet resigned on Saturday.

This resignation has come after the Rajasthan Council of Ministers meeting on Saturday evening at the residence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in Jaipur.

On Friday, three Rajasthan ministers – state education ministers Govind Singh Dotasara, Harish Choudhary and Raghu Sharma – offered to resign to Congress president Sonia Gandhi. He wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi expressing his desire to work in the party organization and step down from his posts.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday accepted the resignations of the three ministers.
