The current Scorpio, which has evolved over the past two decades, will continue as the ‘Scorpio Classic’. Mahindra today released a YouTube video with the caption, “The All-New Scorpio-N | Coming on 27th June 2022”.
designed by Mahindra India Design Studio (MIDS) In Mumbai, the new Scorpio will be bigger than the previous-gen model. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N will be equipped with the latest features and a new layout.
The silhouette of the all-new Scorpio-N is somewhat similar to that of the Mahindra XUV700. The SUV will get twin-pod LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, new Mahindra logo, larger window frame and more. The SUV is likely to get 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels.
As far as the interiors are concerned, the all-new Mahindra Scorpio-N will get a large touchscreen information display, a digital instrument cluster with a colorful central mid, wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Inner auto-dimming rear-view mirrors, Andrenox connected car technology and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.
The new Mahindra Scorpio will likely be powered by two engine options – a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. A 6-speed manual and automatic transmission are likely to be available. Additionally, the diesel variant will also get a four-wheel-drive system.
