Prayagraj: Allahabad High Court has reserved the verdict on Pallavi’s petition Singh PatelSamajwadi Party MLA SirathuAgainst the notice of the Election Commission for allegedly not disclosing the pending criminal cases against him.
Pallavi defeated UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya in the Sirathu seat in the UP elections.
a bench of justice Sunita Agarwal and justice Vikram D Chouhan reserves the verdict after hearing the arguments of Patel’s lawyer Saroj Yadav, Election Commission’s counsel Senior Advocate Rakesh Pandey and Additional Advocate General Neeraj Tripathi on Thursday. Patel had allegedly concealed details of criminal cases against him in the nomination papers filed for the assembly elections, which are required to be disclosed as per the directions of the apex court.
