In June, Amazon boxes being shipped from fulfillment centers in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru will have special tapes with the pride flag in 11 colors. He added that to support the needs of this community, the company offers a same-sex partner coverage program, which helps employees enroll same-sex partners in their health insurance program.

Employees also have the option of choosing gender reassignment surgery or signing up for infertility treatments, both of which are provided as part of health insurance benefits.

The company also supports LGBTQIA+ employees with access to resources and counselors through its Employee Assistance Program.

The program provides them with resources, counseling, support and guidance in their journey if they want to talk openly about their sexuality with their family, friends or coworkers, she said.

Additionally, to create an inclusive workplace, all managers are trained in inclusive leadership, a program that enables managers to thoughtfully lead teams with diverse employees, she said.
