Ambala reports 189 new Kovid-19 cases, 1 death. Gurgaon News – Times of India

Ambala: Ambala District Civil Surgeon, Dr Kuldeep Singh said on Thursday that a woman (63) of Ambala town in the district died due to COVID-19, who was suffering from heart disease and was on bi-PAP support.
He said that 189 positive cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Ambala district and 613 patients were discharged that day.
Out of 189 positive cases, 40 cases in Shahzadpur, 39 in Ambala city, 36 in Ambala Cantonment, Chowramastpur 31, Mullana 28, barras 10, and Narayangarh 5.
There are 2,875 active patients of Kovid-19 in Ambala.
Singh said that the health department vaccinated 2,453 people against Kovid-19 that day.
Dr Singh said that the recovery rate of Ambala district is 91.31 percent and the death rate is 1.34 percent. The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Ambala till Thursday reached 39,118, of which 35,718 have been discharged and 525 have died.
