America: Gunman kills 3 at Indiana mall before civilian shoots him

In the United States, three people were killed and two were injured when a man opened fire at a food court in the Indiana State Mall.

US police said the gunman was shot by an armed civilian. The incident is from Greenwood Park Mall.

Greenwood Police Department Chief Jim Eason said that both the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

“The Greenwood Police Department is in control of the scene. I am in direct contact with the command post, and there is no further threat,” said New York Times Mayor Mark Myers.

The gunman, an adult male, was shot by an armed civilian. However, no motive or motive behind the shooting is yet known to the authorities, The New York Times reported.

Chief Jim Iason said in a press conference that the local emergency call center began receiving calls about a shooting at the food court around 6 p.m. GMT.

Fox News reported that police said the shooter had a long rifle and several magazines of ammunition.
