Amit Shah advises Bengal unit to strengthen party organization, says demand for President’s rule is not the ‘right way’

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday asked the state unit of the BJP to strengthen the party organization to fight the battle against the ruling party. Referring to the demands for imposition of President’s rule in the state, Shah also told the party’s internal meeting that this is “not the proper way to fight the TMC government”. Amit Shah ji has said that the party will only move forward with the strength of its organisation. The party needs to be strengthened at the grassroots level. He also cited the example of states where BJP came to power after years of hard work in the opposition.

He advised that when the party is in opposition it has to face many challenges and the party has to face those challenges.

According to BJP sources, Shah referred to the repeated demands by the state unit of the BJP for imposition of President’s rule in the state, saying it was “not the proper way to fight a democratically elected government”. Another BJP leader said that Shah also said that since the TMC government came to power with such a huge mandate and that too a year ago, the demand for imposition of Article 355 and Article 356 was not justified as it was not the way to negotiate. Is. with the elected government.

The BJP leader also claimed that Shah also spoke about the repeated demand for CBI’s intervention in various cases in the same manner and said, “CBI works independently and as per law.” According to sources, Shah also asked the party workers to fight unitedly against the “misrule of TMC” and expose the “corruption and atrocities” of the ruling party.

BJP leaders said, “Speaking on many party leaders and workers leaving the party, Amit Shah ji said that there is nothing to worry as the party still has a strong support base among the masses.” This was Shah’s first meeting with the state unit after last year’s assembly elections in West Bengal. This comes as the state BJP unit is plagued by infighting and exodus.

With little time left for party work, many senior leaders are engaged in fights on social media.
