Amit Shah offers prayers at Gurdwara in Karnataka

Union Home Minister Amit Shah today paid obeisance at Guru Nanak Jheera Sahib Gurdwara in Bidar, Karnataka during his one-day visit to the state.

Shri Shah will flag off BJP’s ‘Vijay Sankalp Rath Yatra’ in Bidar today and will also address a public meeting.

His visit to Karnataka assumes significance as assembly elections for 224 seats in the state are likely to be held in May this year.

During a day-long visit to the poll-bound Karnataka on March 3, Mr Shah will flag off the first ‘Vijay Sankalp Rath Yatra’ from Anubhav Mantapa in the state’s Basavakalyan area in Bidar.

He will later attend a public meeting at Theer Maidan in Bidar in the afternoon

In the evening, the Home Minister will offer prayers at Chennakeshava Temple in Avathi, Devanahalli area in Bengaluru Rural.

Mr Shah will later flag off another ‘Vijay Sankalp Rath Yatra’ and hold a public meeting at the Govt. College Ground in Devanahalli area in Bengaluru Rural.

He will visit the Safe City Command Center in Bengaluru around 7 pm and participate in the launch of the Bengaluru Safe City Project from the city’s Town Hall.
