Union Home Minister Amit Shah will reach Jammu and Kashmir on his three-day visit to the Union Territory on Saturday. This will be his first visit to the Valley since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019. Amit Shah will chair a security review meeting at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar at 12.30 pm. He will also interact with the members of youth circles of Jammu and Kashmir at 4.45 pm. Amit Shah will inaugurate the first direct international flight between Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. HM will inaugurate the flight at 6 pm. Ahead of the Home Minister’s visit to the Union Territory, several traffic restrictions have been imposed in Srinagar, with two-wheeler riders facing stringent security checks.
