BJP sources said the saffron party would work with more focus in Telangana and take its campaign forward after the assembly elections in neighboring Karnataka are over on May 10.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public meeting in Chevella on 23 April. BJP sources gave this information on Saturday.
He said that his visit is a part of the ‘Sansad Prabhas Yojana’ programme.
Shah is likely to meet some of the key members of the blockbuster ‘RRR’ film team during his visit. The BJP leader is expected to felicitate the film crew for winning the prestigious Oscar award.
The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from ‘RRR’ won the Academy Award in the Best Original Song category at this year’s event.
A senior party leader said Shah always tries to meet celebrities wherever he goes and as part of that the minister had met actors Jr NTR and Nitin during his previous visits last year.

The political one-sidedness between the ruling BRS and the BJP has reached new heights in recent times, with war of words between the two parties becoming almost a daily affair.
The BJP has been trying to emerge as an alternative to the BRS and the national party has had reasonable success in a few assembly bypolls and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections during the last three years.
