Amit Shah will reach TS voters today

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to give a clarion call to the people of Telangana to bring the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to power in the next assembly elections and oust the “corrupt and dynastic rule” of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Will give He will address a public meeting at Thukkuguda in Rangareddy district on Saturday evening.

He will be the chief guest at a public meeting being organized by TS party chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar to mark the conclusion of the second phase of the month-long Praja Sangram Yatra in the areas of Mahbubnagar and Rangareddy.

The party is preparing to host one of the biggest public meetings ever in Telangana, with an estimated five lakh people. The state leadership has finalized plans for mobile people across the state and assigned specific tasks to the in-charges of constituencies for the purpose.

“Mr. Shah will promise a democratic and responsible government from BJP and will request people to give a chance to the party. After Karnataka and Pondicherry, our party is confident of forming the next government in Telangana because of several developments in the recent past. Indicate that the political winds are in our favour,” said Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and Development of Northeast G Kishan Reddy.

The K Chandrashekhar Rao-led TRS government was accused of running a “propaganda” campaign against the BJP-led central government to “maintain family rule by diverting attention from the real issues”, claiming that people were “voting”. Getting ready to “get out of your rule”.

After checking the arrangements at the venue of the meeting with senior leaders on Srisailam Road, he said, “The last few by-elections to the assembly have shown that money and muscle power will not win elections every time.”

Earlier, National OBC President K. Laxman told a press conference that Mr Shah would explain the benefits of having a double engine government in offering a clean governance in the TS and claimed that the TRS was getting upset over Mr Shah’s proposed public meeting.
