megastar Amitabh Bachchan Celebrated his 80th birthday on Tuesday with his fans, whom he affectionately call his extended family. Cinema megastars stepped out of their Juhu home Jalsa at midnight to greet fans waiting to catch a glimpse of their special day. In a video circulating on social media, Bachchan can be seen accepting his well-wishers with folded hands. Along with his personal security, he was accompanied by his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
Hours later, the octogenarian once again thanked fans and well-wishers on his personal blog.

“And another 365 .. and another begins .. as many others begin .. a beginning is needed. They provide an end .. and an ending requires love and grace and care (sic)”
He then went on to thank all his fans, whom he affectionately call his extended family or EF, for the love they have received.
Bachchan wrote, “It is impossible for me to attempt what your love and affection means to me.. so I join my hands and pray in a spirit of generous gratitude to all.. my love as always ,” wrote Bachchan.
In the post, he wished some of his fans members who share their birthday with him.
Bachchan, whose career spanned over five decades, is regarded as the Shahenshah of Bollywood and is regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. He has acted in over 100 films and has even lent his iconic voice to several songs in Hindi films.
He was recently seen in the family drama “Goodbye”. This year he also acted in “Jhund”, “Runway 34” and “Brahmastra Part One: Shiva”.
