AMU Admission 2022 CUET 2022: Know which courses are included, how to apply

Application process for admission in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Undergraduate courses have started for the academic session 2022-23. Students can now apply for the courses of their choice by taking Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) Organized by National Testing Agency. Interested students need to fill the CUET 2022 application form on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Admission to AMU will be based on CUET score instead of a separate entrance test administered by the university. CUET (UG) 2022 will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) in 13 languages ​​including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati and others. It will be a set of tests in domain-specific topics and general knowledge.

The following courses are available in reputed central university through CUET:

i) BVOC (Production Technology)

ii) BVOC (Polymer and Coating Technology)

iii) BVOC (Fashion Design and Apparel Technology)

v) BA (Hons.) Sanskrit, Persian, Women’s Studies, Hindi

For courses not covered under CUET including B.Tech, PG courses, Diploma courses and admission to class 11, AMU will conduct its counseling session and conduct its own entrance test as per the previous year format.

AMU Admission CUET 2022: How to Apply

Step 1. Visit the official website of CUET at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Step 2. On the right side of the screen, click on the ‘Register’ button.

Step 3. Check application guidelines and university course eligibility.

Step 4. Register and fill the application form, attaching any required documents.

Step 5. Pay the application fee for the selected languages ​​associated with the AMU courses.

Step 6. Submit the application form and print a copy for future use.

The application fee for the unreserved category has been kept at Rs 650. EWS/OBC-NCL students will have to pay Rs 600, while for SC, ST community, PWBD or third gender category students the fee will be Rs 550. Notably, the deadline for successful completion of fee transactions through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI/Paytm is May 6 (by 11.50 PM).
