Industrialist Anand Mahindra never ceases to amaze us with his social media posts. The Mahindra Group Chairman’s Twitter handle is replete with interesting, motivational and witty tweets along with important life lessons for his 10.4 million followers. This time, he shared a music video based on the rivers of India which aims to create awareness about water conservation. Titled ‘Rivers of India’, the song includes the names of 51 rivers across India that have contributed to the development of the country.

The music video showcases the beauty and power of rivers across the country as they emerge from mountains and flow through various landscapes.

The song was originally shared on 2021 by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, including Bombay Jayashree, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Rishith Desikan and Amrit Ramnath. “The Rivers of India” is a tribute to the timeless spirit of India that accords a dignified place to the precious water resources. Conceptualized and created by Kanikeshwaran, a distinguished alumnus of IITM, the music video highlights the need to conserve and protect water resources. Produced by the International Center for Clean Water, IIT Madras to promote awareness about,” the original post reads.

Internet users loved the video and many stressed that water conservation is the need of the hour.
