Anand Subramaniam: CBI arrests Anand Subramaniam in NSE scam case – Times of India

Chennai: CBI arrests former Group Operating Officer (GOO) of NSE Anand Subramaniam At his Chennai home in the early hours of Friday.
The arrest comes after three days of interrogation by a CBI team from Mumbai in connection with the multi-crore irregularities committed by former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Chitra Ramakrishna.
The team took Anand Subramaniam to an undisclosed location in Chennai for further questioning. They will be left for Mumbai later in the day.
CBI sources said they have recovered digital documents from Subramaniam’s residence.
Chitra Ramakrishna and his predecessor Ravi Narayan were questioned by CBI officials in New Delhi last week.
According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the CBI, Ramakrishna appointed Subramaniam as the Chief Strategic Advisor and appointed him as the Group Operating Officer (GOO) of NSE with a sizable salary package as per the instructions of a ‘yogi’ living in the Himalayas. promoted as ,
