Ananya Panday has been grabbing everyone’s attention and making headlines ever since the release of the first look of her film ‘Gehraiyaan’. The Shakun Batra directorial, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi, has been one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year, with its trailer garnering a lot of attention. While Ananya is excited for the premiere of Gehriyan, she has now revealed a glimpse of her character Tia from the film.
She shared a picture of her character ‘Tia’ from the film on her social media profile. In the caption, he wrote, “Love is not what you say. Love is what you do. Meet Tia – A Piece of My Heart #GehraiyaanOnPrime Releasing on February 11”
Ananya is seen in a confused position in the trailer, declares her love for Siddhant’s character, Zain, and does much to keep it up. Fans are in awe of Gehraiyaan as it will portray a new avatar of Ananya as a cast. Apart from the audience response, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor were quick to congratulate her for her portrayal of Ananya’s BFF, Tia.
Ananya Panday termed Gehraiyaan as a great learning experience for her and feels the film will take her on a new career path.
Ananya praised her co-star Deepika Padukone in a recent interview with Hindustan Times saying, “I have admired her all my life as an actor. I love the choices she made, the choices she made. I admire the characters and the way she has portrayed them. She is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. She is really hot and loved by everyone. As long as we used to work together, she was every bit The day set the right tone and vibe on the sets.”
Dharma Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Jawska Films in association with the film, directed by Shakun Batra, will release on February 11 on Amazon Prime Video.
