Vizianagaram District Collector Nagalakshmi Selvarajan on Friday asked officers and employees of all departments to work together for effective implementation of welfare schemes and developmental activities in the district. On the occasion of Civil Services Day, he paid tributes to Sardar Vallabhai Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister. He said that officers and employees working honestly would be rewarded. He said that unity in the discharge of duties would improve personal relations between them. Joint Collector K. Mayur Ashok urged the officials to develop crisis management techniques as the government would be forced to handle many unforeseen problems during disasters.
