Poland has recognized Kovidshield as the equivalent of a vaccine recognized by the European Union, exempt from quarantine after entering the territory of the Republic of Poland, the country’s embassy in New Delhi informed on Friday.

In July, Belgium recognized the Covishield vaccine, which is being developed by Oxford-AstraZeneca and manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII).

The Belgian Embassy’s Charge d’Affaires, Arnaud Lyon, said that the recognition of Covishield by his country will have a positive impact on everyone who receives the vaccine shot in India and abroad.

Lion was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, “The Inter-Ministerial Conference in Belgium on July 7 decided to recognize the Kovishield vaccination, which will have a positive impact, I hope that everyone in India and outside India is vaccinated against Kovishield.” Will go.”
