Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s RRR has become one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. Released in March this year, the film broke several records at the box office and received immense appreciation from both the audience and critics. Recently, Bollywood superstars Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor visited a theater in Mumbai and watched SS Rajamouli’s RRR. Later, they praised the film on their respective social media handles.
Both, Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher called RRR ‘entertaining’ and praised the makers. “Watched #RRR, one of the most entertaining and phenomenal films of recent times. Truly a treat for all the senses! On the other hand, Anupam Kher wrote, “Saw @ssrajamouli’s #RRR. What a wonderfully entertaining film. High on content, performances, songs, dance and action sequences! Earlier, Anupam Kher also shared a video in which he was seen talking to Anil Kapoor before watching RRR. Anil said, “Both of us have come to see a film after many years.” After which Anupam Kher said, “Thousand years. We used to come for our premieres.” Anil joked, “Yeah, you know I feel like I’m in St. Xavier’s College and I’m going on a date.”
RRR is based on the lives of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought to break away from the shackles of the British Empire in India. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and Ajay Devgn. RRR has collected over Rs 1100 crores worldwide so far.
