Anushka Sharmawho welcomed their daughter Vamika Virat Kohli Earlier this year, she thanked her cricketer husband for being with her during her pregnancy. The actress said the early months of her pregnancy were “terrible”.

Speaking to Grazia, Anushka said, “What this experience has taught me is to always look positive. It gave Virat and I a chance to spend a lot of time together as he was not playing any matches at that time. Had he been traveling, I would not have been able to accompany him in my condition. My first trimester was terrible, so it was nice to have her by my side and be my cheerleader. ,

Anushka also said that she really wanted a baby shower and was even ready to host one for herself. But it was a low-key affair due to the Covid restrictions.

On Virat’s birthday last week, Anushka shared an adorable picture with the cricketer on Instagram. He also appreciated her ability to lift herself from the lows. “I know we’re not supposed to talk to each other through social media like this, but sometimes I just want to scream and tell the world what an amazing person you are. Lucky are those who Really get to know you really. Thank you for making everything brighter and more beautiful,” she added.

Last month, Anushka also started working with Virat Kohli during their cricket tournaments. Since then she has been shooting for various brand commitments and is often snapped by paparazzi in and around Mumbai. Anushka has been away from acting for some time but has produced many projects. She was last seen in Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 2018. Speculations are rife that she will return to acting with Jhulan Goswami’s biopic.
