At the moment, Apple is facing an additional fine in Brazil for not shipping its new iPhones with the charger.

The brand has said the move to remove the power adapter is basically reducing its annual carbon emissions by 2 million metric tons, thanks to smaller packaging, allowing more boxes in a single shipping pallet. But, this also benefits the company as it does not have to ship power adapters and AirPods, while also saving on shipping costs.
