Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has a new prediction and it’s latest about USB-C charging coming to Apple AirPods, according to a report by 9To5Mac. According to Kuo, Apple will bring USB-C charging to all AirPods models next year by launching a USB-C-enabled charging case.
“I anticipate that Apple will launch USB-C-enabled charging cases for all AirPods models in 2023. However, the charging case for the new AirPods Pro 2, launched in 2H22, may still support Lightning.”, Kuo allegedly said.
The new AirPods Pro will launch later this year but it doesn’t look like Apple will be removing the Lightning connector on the true wireless earbuds with this year’s model.
