AR Rahman shared a picture from his daughter’s wedding
Music maestro AR Rahman took to social media to announce that his daughter Khatija has married her fiancee Riyasdin Riyan, who is an audio engineer by profession. Rahman shared a picture of the newlywed couple on his Instagram and thanked fans in advance for all the wishes.
In the picture, Khatija is sitting next to Ryan. Rahman’s two children Amman and Rahima also posed with the couple. We can see that the image of Rahman’s late mother Karima is also placed with the newlyweds as a sign of blessings for their married life.

Rahman shared a picture of his daughter’s nikah ceremony on social media. He captioned the post, “Almighty bless the couple.. Thanks in advance for your well wishes and love (sic).” Khatija and Riaan are seen twinning in white on their wedding day. Khatija is wearing a floral salwar kurta and Riyan is wearing a white sherwani. The couple looks blissful as they celebrate the big occasion surrounded by family and loved ones.

Earlier in January, Riaan and Khatija announced their engagement through a social media post. The ceremony was held on 29 December. Riyan wrote on Instagram, “With the blessings of the Almighty I am delighted to announce all my engagements with @khatijaRehman, @khatijaRahman, composer, producer and philanthropist. The engagement took place on the 29th of December, his birthday. In the presence of close family and loved ones (sic).”
Rahman has composed the music for the recently released film Heropanti 2. Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Rahman’s son-in-law has been working with him on projects and live shows for many years. Khatija and Riaan have collaborated on the upcoming album Kuhu Kuhu.
