We often see optical illusions on the Internet. These puzzles are so tricky that we are compelled to try our best and solve them. You’re feeling it, aren’t you? Sometimes we are faced with deceptively simple questions. These problems seem ridiculously easy to solve, but most people get the answer wrong. Now, we come up with a riddle that will surely leave you scratching your head. Take a quick look at it and guess the number of balls in the photo. If you are able to guess the correct answer within 10 seconds, then your brain is very sharp.

If you’re still unable to figure it out, here’s a hint: look at the size of the heap. The balls are stacked like a pyramid. This means you can see right in front of the stack. To get the correct answer, you need to calculate how many balls can be in the pyramid.

this is easy. Simply count the number of balls on one side of the pyramid and square the number. This is because the base is in the shape of a square. If you counted the balls correctly, you should have squares of 1, 2, 3, and 4. Now, add the numbers. (1×1) + (2×2) + (3×3) + (4×4) = 1 + 4+ 9 + 16. This means that the total number of balls in the photo should be 30.

Most of the social media users were unable to guess the correct number and gave multiple choices ranging from 16 to 32. Some managed to get the answers right. “Oh my god, future right!! 30 is the answer but now I look back and a lot of people got it wrong. It’s so simple,” read one comment.

One user wrote, “There should be 30 for a full and balanced pyramid.”
