Army: ‘Army ready to investigate any military rigor’ | India News – Times of India

New Delhi: Army General MM Naravane on Friday said while maintaining high operational readiness to counter any attempt to unilaterally change the status quo on the borders, additional forces have been deployed to prevent any “military crisis”.
“The response of the Army to such efforts has been swift, calibrated and decisive as seen when the situation demands. We have also put in place additional security measures to prevent any further attempts on the military verge,” said General Naravane, in the customary Army Day-East address amid a 20-month-long military confrontation with China in the East Ladakh,
“We believe that differences in perception and disputes are best resolved through established norms based on principles of equal and mutual security. Our desire for peace stems from our inherent strength. It should not be mistaken otherwise , “They said.
Feather Pakistan The Army Chief said the institutional mechanisms and security measures to counter state-sponsored terrorism have been further strengthened along the borders and in the hinterland.
“Our actions have demonstrated our capabilities to strike at the source of terrorism,” he said.
