Arrest warrant against six in Karnataka PSI recruitment exam scam

The third JMFC court in Kalaburgi on Tuesday issued arrest warrants against six persons, including BJP leader Divya Hagaragi, in connection with the PSI recruitment examination scam here. The absconding accused had approached the court for anticipatory bail and his plea was rejected.

On Tuesday, the CID arrested one more person in this case, NV Sunil Kumar, a resident of Kalaburagi. According to sources, he emerged as a successful candidate in the PSI recruitment exam by allegedly writing the exam using a bluetooth device at Gyan Jyoti English Medium School. According to sources, he had taken the help of Rudragowda Patil, who had already been arrested by the CID.

The CID had informed Mr. Kumar to come to his office in Bengaluru for document verification and enquiry. He was later taken into the custody of the CID as he was found involved in the scam and was later sent to Kalaburagi.
