He had said that the use of Pusa Bio-Decomposer has been found to be highly effective in an audit conducted by a central agency.

The Delhi government last year experimented with a solution devised by scientists from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in New Delhi.

Former Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar had said last year that the Pusa bio-decomposer would be tried out in some areas of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and if the technology was found successful, it would be extended to more areas.
