Special Judge VV Patil also rejected the bail plea of ​​26-year-old Arbaaz Merchant and 39-year-old Munmun Dhamecha, who was arrested along with him.

Mr Khan had sought bail through senior advocate Amit Desai on the ground that there was no recovery of the banned material recovered from him.

Additional Solicitor General for NCB Anil Singh opposed Mr Khan’s bail saying: “Mr. Khan has a role in illegal purchase and consumption of contraband. It is Prima facie It was learned that he used to purchase banned substances from Mr. Merchant and his associated sources, from whom six grams of charas were recovered.

On October 2, the agency seized 13 grams of cocaine, five grams of MD (mephedrone), 21 grams of charas, 22 tablets of MDMA (ecstasy) and ₹1,33,000 in cash from the International Cruise Terminal in Mumbai.
