Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited film Beast released on Wednesday with great fanfare. The trailer and songs of the film have become viral on social media. Booking opened with great response. Most of the tickets were sold out within a few hours of the start of booking.
The die-hard fans of Vijay are celebrating the release of the film whole heartedly. They poured milk and burst crackers on Vijay’s massive cut-outs to celebrate the arrival of the action flick. But some fans have taken the craze of the film to a completely different level.

According to several media reports, some cinema halls in Virudhunagar announced a new offer for people who bought tickets for the first show on the first day of the film. Reportedly, theaters gave 1 liter of petrol free of cost to those who bought five tickets to the Beast’s first show on day one.
The move to give one liter of petrol can also be seen as a hole in the pocket of the common man on the steep rise in petrol prices. It is worth noting that the price of a liter of petrol in Chennai is around Rs 110.
Vijay plays the role of a RAW agent, Veeraraghavan, who executes some spectacular action sequences on screen. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, The Beast’s plot is based on a mall hijacking attempt. The action flick also stars Pooja Hegde and Selvaraghavan in pivotal roles.
