When warned by News18 about the absence of face masks, lawmakers made strange pleas to hide their mistake.

When minister Brijendra Yadav was seen without a mask, he told News18 that he was allergic to the mask, but he used to stay outside round the clock earlier. However, he accepted his mistake saying that yes, it is his fault, “We are still in the midst of the pandemic and we (MPs) are urging others to wear masks but not wearing it personally. Huh. I apologize for this,” the minister said.

MLA Sudesh Rai, who was seen without a mask, also admitted the mistake and promised to wear them regularly.

BJP MLA Chetan Kashyap, trying to hide his mistake, said that he uses a mask but had put it down for two minutes as he was talking to someone. “Yes, the mask is the protective cover,” he said.

MLA Munmun Rai went a step ahead and said, ‘Yes, it is the fault of us MLAs that we forgot to wear masks in a hurry. We should also be punished for breaking the rules. ,
