Ashok Leyland Launched today Ecomet Star 1815 truck In the 17.5 ton category. The brand claims that the truck has a payload capacity of 11.74 tonnes (20 ft HSD) and delivers better mileage.
The Ecomet Star 1815 truck is powered by H series four cylinder engine that produces 150 hp power and 450 Nm torque. Askock Leyland says the product is targeted at long-distance customers seeking higher payloads with a 4-cylinder engine for faster turnaround times.
The truck has received R20 295/90 tube tires and five loading spans – 20 ft/22 ft/24 ft (with day cabin) and 20 ft and 22 ft (with sleeper cabin). The company claims that the Ecomet STAR 1815 has a High Strength Steel (HSS) frame with 7mm thickness and load body.
Featuring 10-wheel bolt front and rear axles, the Ashok Leyland Ecomet Star The 1815 truck is offered in a white colored cabin that is equipped with a host of features, such as a new digital dashboard with advanced digital driver assistance (Add a), Advanced Telematics (i-Alerts) and Remote Diagnostics with 24×7 customer support through the Uptime Solution Center.
