Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers: Schedule, Livestream, Venue and everything you need to know

The Asia Cup 2022 qualifiers are set to begin on Saturday (August 20) as four nations – Hong Kong, Singapore, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwait – gear up to make it to the prestigious tournament starting August 27. The qualifier tournament will be a five-day event with all six matches being played at the Al Amrat Cricket Ground in Oman. The winners of the qualifiers will face a major test after qualifying for the Asia Cup as they take on India and Pakistan in the first round. Hong Kong is experiencing the previous edition of the tournament which took place in the United Arab Emirates (2018). Singapore, on the other hand, have had a disappointing performance in their last six matches of the shortest format, losing all six. In addition, they have faced defeats from the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong in their previous conflicts. Kuwait are in great form at the moment and have won all their last four matches of T20I cricket.
