Team India became the second team Asia Cup 2022 To qualify for Super 4 two days ago. And on the night of Thursday (September 1), Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh To book his spot in Super 4 in a thriller as well. Afghanistan is the second team to book a place in the Super 4 of the Asia Cup 2022. On Friday (September 2), Pakistan and Hong Kong will play against each other to book the final spot in the Super 4. In their first clash of the tournament, Pakistan lost to India by 5 wickets. Like Pakistan, HK too lost their first match against India two days back.
Asia Cup Super 4 Format
In the group stage, 6 teams are divided into 2 groups – Group A and Group A. Group A consists of India, Pakistan and Hong Kong, while Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
The top two teams from each group – A1, A2, B1, B2 – will advance to the Super 4 and will play against each other in a round-robin format. The top two teams will advance to the final to be played in Dubai on 11 September.

India vs Pakistan on Sunday?
The first round of India vs Pakistan in Asia Cup 2022 was played on 28 August in Dubai. India won that match by 5 wickets. Pakistan needs to beat Hong Kong on 2nd September to enter Super 4. If they do so, Pakistan will enter Super 4 as A2 and may meet India (A1) in Dubai on 4 September.
