To mark Phase 11 of the ambitious ‘Samajwadi Vijay Rath Yatra’, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will visit Ayodhya on January 8, 9. All eyes are on the detailed schedule of Yadav’s visit to Ayodhya, as the 2022 UP assembly elections inches closer.

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has been accusing Yadav’s father and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mulayam Singh Yadav of firing at kar sevaks during the Ram temple movement in the 90s. The Rath Yatra is considered a lucky charm by the Samajwadi Party because whenever Akhilesh has gone on a tour, the SP has formed the government in the state. So far, the SP chief has completed nine phases of his ambitious Rath Yatra in different parts of the state. Yadav has so far traveled from Ghazipur to Lucknow via Purvanchal Expressway, Jaunpur, Banda to Mahoba, Unnao, Lucknow etc.

The SP chief’s ‘Vijay Rath’ has been decorated with portraits of party chief and former chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, Rampur MP Azam Khan, SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav and party’s state president Naresh Uttam Patel and embossed with the slogan Is. ‘The hand of the bad is with the youth’.
