Asus ROG Phone 6 India launch set for July 5, renders Surface online

The Asus ROG Phone 6 is set to hit the Indian market on July 5, the Taiwan-based company confirmed on Saturday. The new gaming-focused phone will be unveiled in the country along with the global launch event and virtual event will be held on Asus’ official YouTube channel. Asus ROG Phone 6 is teased to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and will go on sale in the country via Flipkart. The new model will replace the ROG Phone 5 that was launched last year. In addition, renders of the phone have leaked online, revealing the expected design of the phone in detail, pointing to some of its possible features.

New Asus ROG Phone 6 Will be launched in India on July 5 at 5:20 pm in a virtual event streamed Live through the company’s YouTube channel. The launch in India will coincide with the global launch. The Asus ROG Phone 6 has been teased to pack the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood and is confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart in the country. However, the price of this upcoming device is not yet known.

Leading Tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) deployment of Alleged renders of Asus ROG Phone 6 on Twitter. The renders show the handset in black and white color options and suggest a similar design to the previous ROG series smartphones. It featured a triple rear camera unit arranged at the top left corner of the device along with an LED flash. At the back is the ROG logo and Tencent branding, indicating the company’s tie-up with the Chinese gaming giant. Apart from this, the power button and volume rocker can be seen on the left spine of the smartphone.

Along with gaming phones, Asus It is also expected to introduce the ROG Phone 6 Pro. Vanilla Asus ROG Phone 6 Be expected To feature 6.78-inch AMOLED display. Previous leaks had suggested up to 18GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of onboard storage on the device. Other specs include a 64-megapixel main rear sensor, a 12-megapixel front camera, a 6,000mAh battery, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
