Asad Ahmed, son of Mafia Atiq Ahmed and the bodies of the shooters have been handed over to the ashes. Asad’s body was handed over to the Kasari-Masari cemetery in Prayagraj. Atiq’s servant Hasan has been pasted in the graveyard at Mahandori. The son of father Atiq Ahmed and mother Shaista Parveen was not seen for the last time. The Uttar Pradesh STA team killed a son Asad and his servant Hasan in an encounter in Jhansi last Thursday.

Assad handed over amid heavy security
Prayagraj’s ACP Akash Kulhari said that security arrangements were made near Ateeq Ahmed’s house before the dead body of Asad, son of Ajeeb Ateeq Ahmed, was taken to Prayagraj for the last rites. 20-25 people of Asad family are present here. Asad’s encounter took place in Jhansi.
Umesh Pal, a key witness in the Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Raju Pal murder case, and his two security officers were killed in a gunfight in Prayagraj on February 24 this year. The accused in the case, Asad Ahmed and Das, met with the Special Task Force in Jhansi on Thursday. The incident took place at the same time when Atiq and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were being produced in a Prayagraj court.

No close family member seen
Introduced and not allowed to accompany Atiq Ahmed at the cemetery. The ambulance carrying Asad’s body reached the cemetery at around 9 am amid heavy security. Assad’s uncle Usman was with the dead body in the ambulance. The process of burying the body at the Kasari Masari cemetery took about an hour. During this, no close member of Atiq Ahmed and his family was seen. Heavy police forces were redeployed around the cemetery.

Mafia Atiq Ahmed could not attend son’s funeral
On Friday, through his lawyer, Atiq Ahmed had given an application to the magistrate to attend his son’s funeral, on which the decision was taken in the court of Chief Justice Magistrate on Saturday, but before the court proceedings, the body was sent to the magistrate. The burial process is complete. Asad was the third son of Atiq Ahmed’s five sons and was a sister only after the Umesh Pal massacre. Atiq’s eldest son is lodged in Lucknow Jail, while his younger son Ali is lodged in Naini Central Jail. At the same time, the fourth son Ahjam and the youngest son Aban are in the Child Improvement Home of Prayagraj.

In the Umesh Pal murder case, Atiq Ahmed’s wife Shaista Parveen and his brother Ashraf Ahmed’s wife Zainab are also deaf. That’s why no member of Atiq’s family could attend Asad’s funeral. Janu Khan, who excavated Assad’s book at the Kasari Masari cemetery, said that Atiq Ahmed’s mother and father had dug Assad’s grave near his grave.

Talks of Shaista reaching directly to the graveyard were coming to the fore. It was being said that he might surrender to the police after seeing his son for the last time in the cemetery. But this did not happen. Asad’s last rites were performed on Friday itself, but there was a delay in bringing the body from Jhansi to Prayagraj, due to which he got stuck at 10.30 am on Saturday. His maternal grandfather and other close relatives had gone to Jhansi to receive Asad’s body.
