Former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum has backed the Kiwis to win the T20 World Cup on Sunday. Australia and New Zealand will face each other in the final of the T20 World Cup on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. McCullum said Australia had a lot of “match winners”, but captain Kane Williamson and the team would be out of line. McCullum tweeted, “All the best to both teams in the T20 World Cup final tonight. Aussies have a lot of match winners but I think it might be time for Kane and the boys.”

New Zealand injured fast bowler Lockie Ferguson ahead of the tournament and will now be without batsman Devon Conway for the final.
Conway suffered a hand injury after being punched with his bat after being dismissed in the semi-finals.
Williamson said at the press conference on Saturday, ‘Devon’s loss is huge, he has been a big part of all formats for us. This is disappointing and strange.

“For us, it’s our focus on the task at hand and all our players are focusing on this opportunity, going out tomorrow to a different venue and adjusting to the opposition,” he said.
Though these are two opposite units, both are over confident after the inspired show in the semifinal games and it will all boil down to who better handles the nerves in the summit clash.
