Melbourne: Australia Will be ready to host Asian arch rivals Pakistan And India wants to see world cricket revive a competition in a series, board chief Nick Hawkley said.
The rivalry between Pakistan and India has been confined to events sanctioned by international cricket council ,ICC) and the Asia Cup for the best part of a decade due to strained relations between them.
They last played a bilateral series when India hosted Pakistan for white-ball matches in late 2012.

With the ICC’s international program Future Tour Program going on till 2023, such series will be unlikely to happen in the short to medium term.
Pakistan and India are scheduled to play each other in the ICC-sanctioned T20 World Cup in Australia in October.
