A few months ago, a teenage driver in the United States crashed his car into a house while trying to rescue a squirrel that hit the road while he was driving. What made the incident even more interesting was that the house where the woman crashed was a historic home that was the ancestor of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th US President, in Hingham, Massachusetts.

According to photos shared on Twitter by the Hingham Police Department, the 2014 Audi Q7 crashed at home. Along with the inside of a room in the house, the picture shows how the accident had caused considerable destruction.

The Hingham Police Department said in a press release that there were no injuries to the occupants of the house and the driver. The official statement further mentioned that the driver said that he turned the vehicle and drove on the right side of the road to avoid a squirrel on the road.
