Auto sales April 2022: MG Motor India sales down 21% year-on-year

MG says demand for the Hector, Astor and Gloster remains strong, despite a 57 per cent month-on-month decline.

MG Motor India today announced sales of 2,008 units in April 2022. This is a drop of 21 per cent compared to the same period a year ago. If you compare the sales in April to March 2022, you will see that the decline in sales is a significant one as MG Motor India sold 4751 units in March this year and hence, month-on-month, the decline is more than 57 per cent. However, MG maintains that demand for Hector, Astor and Gloster remains strong and there is a positive momentum in inquiries and bookings.
