Auto sales June 2022: Passenger vehicle sales register a growth of 19.06 percent

Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has released the sales report for June 2022 and the passenger vehicle segment has registered a growth of 19.06 per cent in sales at 2,75,788 units last month as compared to 2,31,633 units sold in the same month. Two-wheeler sales for the same month rose 23.40 per cent to 13,08,764 units as against 10,60,565 units sold a year ago. Three-wheeler sales (including electric three-wheelers) registered a jump of 183.93 per cent at 26,701 units during the same period as compared to 9,404 units sold in the same month last year. Apart from this, 47 units of the quadricycle were sold in June this year.
