AVA Group targets ₹500 cr business by 2025

AVA Group, the maker of Medimix Ayurvedic soaps in South India, plans to register a 43% growth in its business volume to achieve a turnover of Rs 500 crore by 2025.

Emphasizing that the hair care segment constitutes a major part of the business, he said the focus will be on growing Medimix soaps and alternative wellness category to achieve the target.

On Wednesday, he announced that the AVA Group is setting up a new spice processing plant near Chennai with an investment of Rs 10-15 crore. Land acquisition work has been completed and civil work has started. It will go on stream by June.

Asked about expansion plans, he said the group companies have enough capacity. Hand sanitizer unit in Vijayawada will go for expansion in future.

AVA Cholayil Health Care Pvt. Ltd. Directors Lunchana Vivek and Pratiksha Anoop launched Medimix Total Care Shampoo with natural ingredients in 80ml and 160ml packs. It is made from nine natural herbs and other essential ingredients. He added that it will be available across all retail outlets in the south and e-commerce platforms.
