The follow-up is directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni of “Hunter” fame from a script written by Suman Adhikari and Akshat Ghildiyal.
Production banner Junglee Pictures shared the film’s trailer and new release date on their official Twitter account.

“Badhaai Do”, which will be distributed worldwide by Zee Studios, has been delayed several times in the past due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In the family entertainer, Rao as a cop and Pednekar as a physical education teacher.
The original film, starring late actors Surekha Sikri, Gajrao Rao, Neena Gupta, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra, tells the story of a middle-aged couple who face an unexpected pregnancy. Directed by Amit Rabindranath Sharma.
The makers said in a press release, “Badhaai Do” will address yet another unusual relationship and tell its story through comedy of error situations.
Apart from Rao and Pednekar, “Badhaai Do” features an ensemble cast of Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chaddha, Chum Darang, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey and Shashi Bhushan.
