Baghdad: Gunmen from there Islamic State The extremist group attacked an army barracks in a mountainous area in the north Baghdad Iraqi security officials said 11 soldiers died while sleeping on Thursday.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to issue an official statement.
The brazen attack, more than 120 kilometers (75 miles) north of the capital Baghdad, was one of the deadliest targeting Iraqi forces in recent months.
