Both the bikes are powered by the all-new 249 cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled two-valve engine that produces 24.1 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 21.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The Pulsar 250 is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. The Pulsar 250 Twins are built on a new tubular steel frame, and use 37mm telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock with pre-load adjustability. The 17-inch wheels have a 130 mm rear tire and a 100 mm thick front tire. Ground clearance is 165 mm, and while the curb weight of Pulsar N250 is 162 kg, the curb weight of Pulsar F250 is 164 kg.
