The Bajaj Pulsar 250 is expected to replace the Pulsar 220F in the brand’s stable

Bajaj Auto has released the teaser of the all-new Pulsar 250 range ahead of the scheduled launch on October 28, 2021. The new flagship Pulsar has been a long-awaited motorcycle and will come in a semi-fair and naked body style. The motorcycle appears to be an evolutionary upgrade in the teaser video Pulsar 220F And there are some elements that we could see when the model arrives later this month.

Previous spy shots have revealed a projector lens with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs

As per the spy shots and teasers, the vertically stacked projector headlamp seen on the 220F has been replaced with a new LED headlamp with a single projector lens. The model also gets boomerang-style DRLs, while a new iteration of the rear sports twin strip LED taillight. You can also see split seats, contoured fuel tank with the traditional Pulsar badge, split grab rails and raised clip-on handlebar. The model is also expected to get a wider windscreen, a digital instrument console, telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. It needs to be seen whether the model will come with single-channel or dual-channel ABS.

The new Pulsar 250 is expected to generate around 25 bhp from its 250 cc motor

There is no official word on engine specifications yet, but the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 range is expected to get a 249 cc motor which will be around 25 bhp. In comparison, the Pulsar 220F makes around 20 bhp and 18.55 Nm from its 220 cc DTS-i motor when paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The new motor is also expected to have an oil-cooled set-up instead of liquid-cooled.
